Entitlement Processing and Timeline
Land Use Entitlement Processing

1. Submit Business License and Fee to the City
2. Review by the Planning Department for compatibility with land use regulations (7days)
3. Review by the Code Enforcement Department for any outstanding compliance issues (7 days)
4. Review by Building & Safety Department (if necessary) (7 - 10 days)
5. Issuance of Business License (7 days) (30 days total)

1. Submit Application and Fee to the City
2. Review by the Planning Department to determine if the Application is complete (15 - 30 days)
3. Environmental Review /CEQA
   (1 - 7 days if the project causes no environmental impacts)
   (14 days if there are impacts which can be mitigated)
   (60 - 90 days if an EIR is required)
   
4. Analysis by City Staff (15 - 21 days)
5. Final Aproval (30 - 60 days if an EIR is not required)
